Excellent location, but queues.

Families looking for a cozy spot

This hotel does a great job at accommodating families! For instance, my daughter loved that the breakfast had a waffle maker, something we didn't expect and it made her day. Plus, the room was very clean and arranged well for us, like, enough space to stretch out. We felt at home.

It wasn’t exactly inexpensive, but given the service, it was still acceptable.

A gorgeous room with stunning views was a highlight of the stay, complemented by a lovely breakfast featuring fresh warm croissants and a hot cooked selection. The 24-hour reception was convenient for purchasing snacks and drinks, enhancing the experience. the family room could benefit from more space, and some amenities felt limited for larger groups. the noise from the hallway was occasionally disruptive during the night.

I had a lovely stay at the Hampton in York. The location couldn't be better, just a short walk to the city center and the Christmas markets. The room felt spacious and modern. Comfortable twin beds made for a good night's sleep. The shower had great pressure, and I appreciated the available toiletries. Breakfast stood out. Plenty of choices, including vegan sausages on request and a waffle maker that looked fun. The breakfast area was a bit messy, though. There weren't enough staff to clean tables quickly. I also noticed the room wasn't cleaned properly on the second day , as we had to ask for fresh towels.

The King Room was super cozy with a nice warm vibe, especially since it was a cold weekend. The shower was fantastic—really hot and powerful! Plus, I loved that there was a mini fridge. Everything felt nice and clean, and the modern vibe made it even better.

super comfy room and the twin beds were way bigger than what we expected. the hotel’s location was on point, just across from the park n ride bus. staff were super friendly and the breakfast was amazin with a lot of choices. we even got to check in early as our room was ready! had a great time overall.

only downside was that parking can be tricky, so def book in advance. the view from our room wasn’t great as it faced a building site.

We enjoyed our stay immensely! The bed was comfortable, and the location allowed easy access to York's attractions. The breakfast selection was satisfying, especially the fresh pastries. Pro tip, look for nearby JustPark for better parking rates. Perfect for couples seeking a cozy escape!

The staff were incredibly friendly, and the modern breakfast had a great variety of choices.

Check-in was off to a rocky start when we received a room key for an occupied space, which could've been awkward. The room felt rather cramped, especially with the sofa bed being too firm for a good night's sleep. I found the heating system inadequate. the temperature control was locked, and I couldn't get the room warm enough, which made it uncomfortably chilly at times. There's also no option to open windows for fresh air. odors from the restroom lingered far too long. Finally, the parking situation was a hassle since the hotel doesn't offer on-site parking, and recommended parking locations were often fully booked.
